"Invitasjonsverktøy for veiledning av læremidler" is part of the service "Veileder for kvalitet i læremidler" (VFKL). The tool is used to invite teachers, school leaders and school owners into a consideration process. It provides help in selecting the material used in teaching. The service does not give a definitive answer on which teaching material is best. It provides input for qualitative discussions and is meant to enhance the relations between the teacher, pupil, teaching material and the curriculum itself.
