Clearing up roles that gives rights to the role Contact Person

Altinn is clearing up roles that automatically gives rights to Contact Person for Norwegian registered foreign company (NUF). This means that the Contact Person will loose access to some roles.

Altinn has received clarification through a dialog with the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities regarding the function of the  Contact Person defined as a person who:

  • Supports information reported to the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities (the right to report)
  • Has a duty to report to the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities on behalf of the business
  • Communicates with the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities on behalf of the business

This means upon the registration of a contact person in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities, the role holder identified cannot act on behalf of the business in other contexts.

Based on this clarification from the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities, Altinn has cleared up the roles that automatically give rights to the Contact Person. This applies to the following roles:

  • Primary industry and foodstuff
  • Planning and building application
  • Access manager
  • Municipal services
  • Patents, trademarks and design
  • Økokrim reporting
  • Accounting employee
  • Health, social and welfare services
  • Transport
  • Energy, environment and climate

Persons registered with the role Contact Person for NUF in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities will hereafter experience access to fewer services.

Information about this change has been given to the Altinn service owners.
